Wanted to add something to the tutorial
I touched on the pair class in the tutorial but I didn't really provide a comprehensive explanation, because of space. For this and all your STL needs, I always recommend the SGI STL website.

A persistence engine is born...
So, this is the first public release of Percy's Persistence Engine, alpha 0.01. This engine will allow lots of different things for mods in general -- the ability to save and load information across server runs can be used in lots of ways. Again, the code and library are in somewhat iffy shape right now, because it's alpha 0.01. I hope people will try using them in their projects and letting me know the results. Please check out the About page, and then go to the Downloads page.

I will be posting a tutorial soon on Wavelength, which will do a sample application using the engine.
